The team at Contract Environmental has expertise in project management, chemistry , environmental science, geology, hydro-geology and ecology.
Our specialists also have sound knowledge of policy, procedure and regulatory interpretation to back up technical expertise and experience in dealing with a broad range and size of developments from residential properties, small industrial blocks to large multi-lot subdivisions and commercial facilities.
Our Management Team, and Senior Personnel
John O'Grady, Managing Director
John O'Grady is a chemical and environmental engineer with over 30 years experience, most of which has been in hazardous waste management, hazardous substances management, contaminated site cleanups and related environmental fields. He is a former Director of Pollution Management for the Ministry for the Environment, and has worked in his specialist fields in New Zealand, the Middle East, the Philippines, Hong Kong and extensively throughout the Pacific. John was also Project Manager for several years for the design, construction and commissioning of a large rotary kiln incineration system in Saudi Arabia.
Terry Donnelly, Director
Terry Donnelly is Managing Director of Contract Landscapes Ltd, a full service civil engineering contracting company employing over 100 personnel, with a large range of piling, excavation and earthmoving equipment and trucks. His extensive experience includes managing numerous contaminated site cleanup projects.
Mark Davies, Associate
Mark Davies has an MSc in contaminated land management from the University of Nottingham and has extensive experience in the UK and more recently New Zealand in contaminated site investigation and remediation. His experience includes serving as Contaminated Land Scientist with the UK Environmental Agency.
Dirk Catterall, Associate
Dirk Catterall has 18 years experience supervising and remediating asbestos and other contaminated site cleanups. He is a licensed asbestos removal contractor (current license no: 6922). His company is Morecroft Asbestos.
